On 22. June, 2012, the NanoBioMedical Centre was opened at the Morasko campus. Governor of the Wielkopolskie Province, Mr Piotr Florek was among the notable guests.

Due to vigorous co-operation between scientists from Poznań and their colleagues from abroad - representing over 20 research units all over the world - also foreign guests were invited to the inauguration.
